Religious instruction at schools is the first area to which the pastors and catechists pay great attention. The Department of Christian Education of the Pedagogical faculty of the University of Ostrava is very important to the church. The Lecturers are pastors and members of our denomination and sister churches.

The study programme is ecumenical and open to students of other denominations. The goal is to prepare Christian teachers who will work in a society devastated by hostile atheism and secularization.
