Evangelical Diaconical Ministries
In the spirit of Christian love for neighbors, the Evangelical Diaconie provides, , spiritual and material help for those who need assistance and have been accepted into its care or into other program activities of the Evangelical Diaconie of the ECAC in Slovakia  (from the Statute of the Evangelical Diaconie of the ECAC in Slovakia)
The Evangelical Diaconie was established in the year 1931, however, during the years 1952 – 1956 was forcibly dissolved. It was reopened after 1989. At the present there are several centers of the Evangelical Diaconie, e.g. orphanages in Banská Bystrica and Púchov, retirement homes in Kšinná, Košeca, Horné Saliby, Trnava, Sučany and Hontianske Moravce, the Center of the Evangelical Diaconie “Light” in Červenica, the Shelter for the Homeless in Veľký Slavkov, as well as others.
Additional diaconal institutions are established in some individual congregations.

Evangelical schools
The ECAC after more than 40 years of forced disruption has started to create a network of Evangelical elementary and secondary schools, which continue to expand. At present there are 4 Evangelical kindergartens (Bratislava-Petržalka, Rožňava, Svätý Jur and Košice-Terasa), 5 Evangelical elementary schools (Bratislava, Bratislava-Petržalka,  Liptovský Mikuláš, Rimavská Sobota, Martin and a special elementary boarding school for the hearing and visually impaired children in Červenica), 7 Evangelical secondary schools – high schools (Bratislava, Bratislava-Petržalka, Banská Bystrica, Košice, Liptovský Mikuláš, Prešov and Tisovec).
These schools are at a high learning and spiritual level and they offer quality instruction in English and German. Many of them are bilingual, with languages being taught by native speakers from abroad.
Education of theologians and teachers of religion is provided by the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the Commenius University in Bratislava.
The Bible school in Martin focuses on the education of non-ordained workers in the areas of church, Biblical and diaconal studies.
